At Cou-Cou Theatre Productions, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the magic of live theatre — whether that’s performing on stage, working behind the scenes, supporting a production, or simply being part of the audience.

We produce exciting, professional-standard theatre shows at venues across the Fylde Coast, creating opportunities for local children and young people to perform, develop their confidence and explore the world of theatre.

Our productions give young performers the chance to experience what it’s really like to be part of a big-scale theatrical production. From rehearsals and costumes to lighting, backstage work and performing in front of a live audience, we aim to create an environment where everyone can learn, grow and have fun along the way.

For us, putting on a production is about much more than what happens on stage. Our shows bring people from the local community together. Whether it’s helping with costumes and props, assisting backstage, supporting rehearsals or lending a hand in the run-up to the big performance, there is a place for everyone. We love seeing our productions become genuine community projects — bringing together people of different ages and backgrounds with a shared love of theatre.

Performing in a professional-standard production can be a hugely rewarding experience. It can help young people build confidence, develop communication and teamwork skills, make new friends and discover talents they didn’t know they had.
